Review on ๐Ÿ‘ž Darco OQ2B Ortho Wedge Healing Shoe - Medium Size by Jason Taylor

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Bad design, not much help to relieve the leg sore.

I bought this model with a cut out to take pressure off my toes/ball of foot and previously also bought a heel wedge. Both are hard solid rubbery material. Both have a very relaxed fit around the heel. If you are wearing a LARGE bulky bandage, you can tighten the Velcro just enough to allow the shoe to fit snugly around your foot. Otherwise, expect him to spit. The orthopedic wedge forces your leg to tilt backwards; I was afraid of falling. Because of the hard, rubbery material, and because my foot wasn't flat like a duck in the forefoot, the area I was trying to relieve the pressureโ€”the ball of my pinky fingerโ€”touched the ground. painful. I first cut out a 1/2 piece of foam rubber to make an insole for the entire foot to soften the blow, but after about 4 days I stopped wearing them altogether. Bad design! People's legs are tilted forward. Too bad the manufacturer tries to sell a shoe for the left and the right foot. To tilt them, you need a left or right footed model.
