I recently bought this set of meat thermometers after our other one, bought specifically for use in the smokehouse, became dusty. I think we used it too much? Laugh! However. I really like that it has two different probes - which is good we have a backup probe in case the other gets dirty or if/if it fails. We use it mostly in our smoker but occasionally in our large toaster/convection oven. The thermometer is very easy to use, even for those who are not very tech savvy (like me!). The thermometer has a touchscreen - it's easy, just press directly on the screen (no complicated buttons). And the numbers on the screen are pretty big. Great for those with poor eyesight like me (blind as a bat!). There's also a timer that works great when you're smoking ribs or roasting a whole chicken. Now that I've used it for the first time, I've double-checked the accuracy of the thermometer. I've used it in the smokehouse - and when I pulled out the turkey I also put in a regular, non-electronic thermometer. The temperatures were right! In general, the purchase is very satisfied. It was pretty cheap, matched the temperature just right, and worked well in our smokehouse!
