Okay, I'm a bit confused as to what works and what doesn't without barbells. After talking to support. They explained that there are 2 different belt systems. 1 for bars and 1 without bars. Unfortunately I bought one that needed poles. CS was great and sent me a pair of barless straps. The bag is the same. Bought about a year ago. You didn't have to do it. I didn't have time to complain. As for people complaining about shredding and the like. This is a soft bag. And you pay $49. Understand what you get. If you want something that will last forever, get a hardtop and spend the extra money. These bags are good. They will eventually wear out, but anything left out for a long time will wear out.
