This is a direct replacement for my 2004 Acura TSX. Accuracy of fit and workmanship correspond exactly to the original spark plugs. My car has 96,000 miles so the owner's manual called for new spark plugs. In addition, the center electrodes showed slight signs of pitting and wear. This is expected after 12 years of daily commuting. It took 30-40 minutes to remove and replace. The gaps were identical to the factory ones and I didn't have to make any adjustments. The 2.4L Acura/Honda heads are aluminum so I don't recommend running a hot engine as you could strip the threads. An extension rod is required to reach the valve covers. My car starts a little faster and the idle is stable. I haven't noticed a significant increase in power or fuel consumption, but I suspect this is due to good quality fuel and regular oil changes - my engine is in excellent condition, with good performance and no oil consumption. My old spark plugs looked worn but were very clean. No oil and almost no soot. FYI, Denso makes a comparable product but the manufacturer recommends NGK and with the original kit working so well for so many years I see no reason to switch brands. This is a good choice for scheduled maintenance, and doing it yourself will save you tons of money. Thank you NGK.
