Small enough for me

I have a lot of Type A USB sticks but I can't use them because I bought a Mac Pro. Why does a Mac only have two Type-C ports, do I have to throw away all my USB sticks? Thank you for this little thin hub. I know there are many better options but they are huge for me and this one is so small and thin I can keep it in my pencil case with my USB driver. This is good for the student.
