I'm all for paying Adafruit a premium price for products that offer tremendous value. Other products are offered as a link to a compatible product. With a little research, I realized I could save about a dollar or two. Bills of Materials (BOM) for several of my projects. I do a little research to decide which products I risk buying in bulk at a significant discount compared to some branded products. I'm looking for support tickets or scanning for C/C++ and/or MicroPython/CircuitPython mentions of the board on it manufacturer versus the overarching protocol or interface you're using to program the hardware. This is a nice little display. We will probably place a small bulk order in the next few days/weeks.
