I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

Pros include clear audio, sturdy construction (making it suitable for use outside the house), easy pairing with mobile devices and computers, and, in many cases, just turning it on.
The proprietary program lacks an equalizer function, which would be useful for toning down the bass in some musical genres.
