I was very disappointed when the adhesive on my PopSocket became visible and sticky and eventually deteriorated to the point that I had to remove the socket. I avoided buying another one as the product should last more than a few months without needing to be replaced. Without PopSocket protection, I dropped the phone a couple of times and started seeing tiny tear lines. At this point it occurred to me to just search for pop socket glue and a few options popped up. I bought this product and am very happy with the results. Although alcohol wipes were included in the kit, I did not use them. Instead, I removed the accumulated glue with a bottle of rubbing alcohol that I had already opened with paper towels. It took some time to clean the residue from the bottom of the PopSocket, but once it was clean the new adhesive was easily applied and the coating process took a few seconds. I waited the recommended 24 hours to use the outlet and now I have the old outlet along with the peace of mind that I won't be throwing my phone away anytime soon. I also love that it comes with a full set of spare stickers. So if this happens again I have everything I need to replace the glue and won't be bothered again.
