This bag is great for both knitting and crocheting which I like to take to work every day so this bag is perfect for me! It has 4 different pockets on the edges, one with a zip, one with space for larger tools, another flat for papers or stencils and a small flat pocket above. There are also several hook-sized pockets for hooks and needles! I have large skeins of Caron and I think 3 maybe 4 will fit in. I'm only using 2 strands so I'm not sure yet, but with 2 I have room for my projects next to it. I was in line at DOL and was able to comfortably knit standing up! It's really fun and great for any yarn crafter. It's a bit awkward to sit next to you, so it might not be suitable for tight spaces like a crowded bus or train. However, it's nice to even just transfer the knitting from room to room.
