I haven't actually used any of these in severe conditions but they appear strong and well made. Each item was individually sealed in clear plastic, as was all secondary packaging. Contrary to some other reviews, there wasn't a single sign of rust or obvious imperfections here. I claim the metal was dry and free of oil, which surprised me. This may be an issue for some other reviews. The knurling on the handles was well defined. Overall I would recommend this product.
