As usual, K&N make a quality product, but you will pay dearly for it. Their products are often double and sometimes higher than the usual fair value from Fram, Purolator and even factory OEMs like Mopar and Motorcraft. However, when it comes to items that don't need much replacement, like air filters and even oil filters (once a year for me since I don't drive more than 5,000-7,000 miles a year), I often choose the K&N brand. I know there's a lot of crap out there, especially with oil filters, and when it comes to filtering things that literally keep pistons that move up and down in a very narrow range lubricated, I don't think you can do better as K&N .
