I bought a 55 degree club mainly because my home course had small greens and it's not just for stopping and running. I got this for my nephew who was struggling with lawn chips. He didn't find it useful so I played around with it a bit. Let me just say I'm a 12 handicap but in my 20's and 30's I played up to 4. I found that you have to hit this 55 degree model pretty hard to get it anywhere and asked me whether I should join a number of less optimistic clubs. However, after you tinker with it and figure out that you have to play it from the back foot, this thing can be amazing at times. The result of hitting hard is that there is a great bite. I'll admit I'd probably be embarrassed if I was seen with a jackhammer in my pocket, but this racquet can really work in certain applications. I found that I couldn't use my racquet, I just couldn't get enough shots. with a club. It is useful from 40 meters away. Others can use it from 100 meters away, but I find it more of a convenience factor than actual performance.
