On the plus side, it's cheap and seems made out of polypropylene or food grade polyethylene to be. I hope it will work fine. I didn't want a lot of metal padding and this is the right size and price. Poorly. The build quality is extremely poor. The mold halves in my example didn't fit properly, resulting in a large amount of flash. The people who did it didn't even bother to cut off what was left of the sprue. Blah, what does that mean: when you get one like mine, you either have to go over it with an abrasive to remove dirt and mold residue, or put up with this thing leaving plastic fragments in your food. I would conditionally recommend this: buy it because it's cheap and looks solid enough to get the job done. Note that if you don't want bits of plastic chipping off your sausage, you'll need to spend about 30 minutes deburring it.
