Review on Ohuhu Display Aluminum Table Top Adjustable by Denise Davis

This is a good easel - surprisingly strong for such a light and portable device - but its usefulness is limited by the lack of customization. The legs can be extended or retracted for general height adjustment, but the tray on which the canvas/panel rests cannot be adjusted up or down at all. This is something that could be built into an easel by simply adding two or three extra screws to the front legs - and I would certainly pay a dollar or two for a product with this feature. On the other hand, the leg length adjustment range is impressive for such a compact device, and while it's not particularly comfortable, playing around with leg lengths is a solution (albeit an imperfect one) to the tablet's non-adjustable height. So, it works, just not comfortable enough for my liking. The only real downside to this easel is the top support bar/clamp. It's poorly designed - mine isn't aligned parallel to the bottom canvas tray - and doesn't hold the canvas with authority. Also, the pin is spring loaded and has no end, making it impossible or unlikely to fall out of the through hole. Mine keeps falling out and it's annoying. For this reason I cannot give this easel 5 stars. A NOTICE. On the plus side, customer support contacted me to proceed after I posted this review. I got my money back because I was dissatisfied with the product. This is impressive. Again, this isn't a bad easel - it's just that its usefulness is limited. It would be a good choice for plein air painting.
