Driver side fits perfectly but passenger side needs adjustment (LHD - US)

I have a 2013 BMW X3 with a brown leather interior. I thought I could separate my driver side and passenger side rating, but I can't. For the driver's door handle, purchase an insert that essentially covers the existing sticky plastic. As shown in the video, pry up a flat piece and pull out - it will pop out immediately. Then put in a new one-piece replacement. super easy. I was a bit worried that the replacement part might not fit and it would look like it was not original. i am picky It looks really good! The piece is slightly larger and therefore covers well. The plastic is harder and smoother. A definite improvement at a modest price, and not at all difficult to do yourself. The passenger side installation was not smooth as the new part did not have the correct design of the lugs that attach the door handle to the actual car door. BMW designed the door handle with little plastic tabs that snap it into place (think BMW electrical connectors). I have attached photos of the original BMW handle. The new part's plastic tabs don't protrude at all (sorry no photo as I've already installed it). There are two additional very small screws that hold the handle in place, but I didn't trust that just those two screws would handle the pull on the doorknob. So I used a drill to drill a hole in the plastic pieces to add a screw to basically do what the tabs are supposed to do. Attached are a few photos of the installed parts.
