I bought this board for the following reasons: + Durability: This is my second Epicurean board and they are nearly indestructible. + Care: No wood oil required + Material: Woodcraft. No plastic that gets dirty easily.+Sticky feet so it doesn't move.+Size and weight: Big enough for slicing, light enough to lift and scrape veggies in the pan.+Double-sided: convenient for eating the grooved ones Side Cutting meat where liquids can enter. The only downside for me is that it's noisy! If you'd rather cut than slice, brace yourself for some serious decibels.
