Review on 🚲 High Pressure Bicycle Tire Hand Pump - LEZYNE Pressure Drive, 120psi, Presta & Schrader, ABS Flex Hose, Compact Bike Pump by Austin Wolf

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a tough and reliable little pump!

I have had this pump for about five years and four months (purchased November 2015) and am very happy with it. After driving about 6,000 miles a year I've renovated many (about 40) homes with it (I don't use CO2). This is a durable, reliable pump. As already mentioned, it is possible that you can remove the loose valve core! This happened to me ONCE and without a valve core tool I could NOT get the valve core to stay in the valve after it came out! Live and learn! Since then, I make sure ONCE that the valve inserts on my bike are tight, and every time I change hoses or spare parts, I check the valve inserts for leaks. And just in case, I keep a small spool adjustment tool in my pocket. Also, don't forget to depressurize the hose before unscrewing the connector! This little pump will give you a little practice getting your tires up to the right pressure, but that's the price you pay for its compact size. It's worth it. (Does not replace a floor pump!) Pros: Reliable and well built. Flexible hose - will not damage the valve. Threaded connection* - holds and does not let air through. Small size fits perfectly in the back pocket of a jersey. Disadvantages: Threaded connection* - loosened valve insert can be removed. Requires a little more effort than some larger pumps. Nice little pump!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • So far so good
