This pump is well made, fits easily in a jersey pocket and inflates the tube well. The problem occurs when you remove the pump after inflating the tire. It's designed to screw onto the Presta valve, but when you want to remove it, it often unscrews the valve core, so you remove it with the pump and your tire loses all of the air. It is always a good idea to have a hand pump on hand for long journeys. Refilling a CO2 cartridge is a one-time affair and if you screw it up, you're screwed. After driving about 6,000 miles a year I've renovated many (about 40) homes with it (I don't use CO2). This is a durable, reliable pump.
