Unscrew the valve core when removing it.

This pump is well made, fits easily in a jersey pocket and inflates the tube well. The problem occurs when you remove the pump after inflating the tire. It's designed to screw onto the Presta valve, but when you want to remove it, it often unscrews the valve core, so you remove it with the pump and your tire loses all of the air. This is quite a disappointing experience, leading me to believe it would be better to use a different method of attaching the pump to the valve stem. One solutionโ€ฆ

  • Pleasant
Cons

It is always a good idea to have a hand pump on hand for long journeys. Refilling a CO2 cartridge is a one-time affair and if you screw it up, you're screwed. Also, CO2 refills are temporary - CO2 tends to leak out of the rubber hoses. This pump has a convenient mounting system that fits between the bottle cage and the frame. The pump itself is held slightly offset parallel to the frame tube. I found it didn't interfere with my seat tube mounted pedaling. I have an apartment and have had to use

High-quality and powerful hand pump.

First of all I have owned this pump for about 3 years. I'd say I want to love this thing, but the hose that connects to the valve stem keeps pulling on my valve stems. No problem as long as you remember to put them on your bike and any new inner tubes before you leave home. There's nothing worse than pumping up a new tube and just when you think you're done it pulls out the valve stem core and you have to start over. I could be doing it wrong, it could be an issue with the one I have, or itโ€ฆ

Tiny Lightweight Bike Pump

While I love my Topeak Turbo Morph G, it is HUGE compared to this pump. This pump is tiny and still gets the job done. My understanding: Pressure Drive = High quality, decent volume, suitable for touring/general purpose Road Drive = High quality, low volume, suitable for high pressure road tires Alloy Drive = High quality, high volume, suitable for mountain bike tires Tech Drive = Similar pressure actuator , but with some plastic parts in non-critical places Sport actuator = entry level pumpโ€ฆ

This is a tough and reliable little pump!

I have had this pump for about five years and four months (purchased November 2015) and am very happy with it. After driving about 6,000 miles a year I've renovated many (about 40) homes with it (I don't use CO2). This is a durable, reliable pump. As already mentioned, it is possible that you can remove the loose valve core! This happened to me ONCE and without a valve core tool I could NOT get the valve core to stay in the valve after it came out! Live and learn! Since then, I make sure ONCEโ€ฆ

An Emergency Pump That Really Works

I'm so glad I found this product. It really "worked", but with difficulty - I was able to inflate my patched tubes enough to get back on the road, but it took forever and I was never able to get them up to the recommended PSI. decided to see what the novelty is. I was excited to learn about Lezyne's offerings as I've been very impressed with their pedal wrench recently. In use, the pump is very efficient. You don't need a ridiculous amount of strength to control it. You *will* get a workoutโ€ฆ
