Would I use them to pack a full batch of beer at home? no However, when I'm gauging and want to get just a few bottles out without wasting time gauging the entire batch, it saves a lot of time. I've put 5 in a 12oz bottle and never had a problem after letting them ferment in a bottle at room temperature for 3 weeks.
