If you look at this picture (which is true) there is a small notch at the base of the card. This notch on this map is almost in the middle. On other memory cards, the notch is offset so that each side is 3/4 and 1/4 the length of the bottom. The best way to ensure you are ordering the correct memory card is to open your laptop and remove your existing memory card, look at it and then compare that card's notch offset to the one pictured here. If it's the same offset, order it. If the offset isn't the same (noticeably different) then don't order the card as you won't be able to snap it onto the motherboard.
