Review on IceToolz Fourth Hand Cable Puller: Universal Cable Holder with Locking Mechanism for Quick & Easy Brake Work by Jeff Dabney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well, inexpensive

Purpose: It is a good tool for adjusting shift or brake cables. This gives you the ability to adjust your cables in very small increments and then hold the tension while leaving your hands free to loosen or tighten the screws. Ease of use: It's easy to use even if you haven't. Before. To see how to do this I watched a YouTube video and it was easy to follow. Durability: The tool has a "light feel" (metal too thin?) in the latch and arc increments, but I don't see that as a problem. To be fair I haven't seen it or compared it to other brands so I have no idea what the weight of any other manufacturer's tool is. I'm not a professional mechanic but I enjoy working with my friends and my friends' bikes and I expect this tool will easily survive my years as an amateur mechanic. Value for money: This is by far the best aspect of this product. At a fraction of the cost of a more established brand, it's great value.
