Great workshop tool

I'm a fan of the Park tool but I have a price limit. Park Tool is more than three times the price of Ice Toolz, but Park Tool still has some low reviews. I was impressed with IceToolz so I decided to give this tool a try. Don't expect too much at this cheap price point, but it's almost identical to the Parks tool. The handles, ratchet and mechanisms are very strong. One comment was that it got rusty. I think since it's steel it will rust if you leave it wet. I'm glad I have this tool as I deal…

Gets the job done at a very reasonable price

If you've never seen cables adjusted with a tool like this, you won't believe how fast it is. Once you've used it yourself, you'll never want to move cables again without it. The only thing you really need to know about using this tool is that brute force is not the goal here. Just squeeze it hard enough to route the cable where you need it and it stays in place, allowing you to tighten the cable clamps without magician's dexterity. Park Tool asks a lot more for a nicer finish tool. and it's a…

Seems like a good tool. Emphasis on “looks like”

I really don't like this tool. The jaws are very narrow, making it difficult to line up the cable in them, especially if you're struggling with the brakes with one hand. Usually occurs with every rotation of the tool. In addition, the small, flexible ratchet jaw is so loose that it does not hold. I tapped the rivet with a hammer to tighten it a bit. A cheap version of a good tool? Luckily I don't have to use it often because it is. Does. Me. So angry! I'll get the best mark and the Hulk will…

Works well, inexpensive

Purpose: It is a good tool for adjusting shift or brake cables. This gives you the ability to adjust your cables in very small increments and then hold the tension while leaving your hands free to loosen or tighten the screws. Ease of use: It's easy to use even if you haven't. Before. To see how to do this I watched a YouTube video and it was easy to follow. Durability: The tool has a "light feel" (metal too thin?) in the latch and arc increments, but I don't see that as a problem. To be fair I

Like a little helper, but better.

This tool just does its job. The line is tricky and almost impossible on some bikes. This tool saves time, frustration and pain in the fingers. I use this tool on every occasion because the results are so pleasing compared to not using it. Now that we have established the merits of this type of instrument, let's take a look at this particular model. At first glance, this tool seemed a bit cheap in construction due to the thin metal. But as I used it I realized that there is no need to use a…
