FOUR STARS BECAUSE IT IS SMALL AND DOESN'T OFFER VERY RELIABLE PROTECTION. DEFINITELY NOT FOR BEGINNERS. IT IS EASY TO PUT ON AND TAKE OFF. IT ALSO DOESN'T FEEL HOT LIKE TRADITIONAL GUARDS. THEY WERE BOUGHT FOR TWO YOUNG PEOPLE, AGE 13 AND 14. THEY WEIGH OVER 100 LBS AND 5 FEET HEIGHT 2. THEY DO KICKBOXING AND DO IT FOR OVER A YEAR. I CANNOT CONFIRM THE DURABILITY OF THE PRODUCT YET. I AM SATISFIED WITH THE OVERALL PRODUCT.
