Review on 🔒 Dorman 746-147 Door Lock Actuator: Unbeatable Performance and Reliability! by Jason Graham

I took my old Country Squire to my trusted mechanic and he said the original tailgate latch actuator was frozen in the closed position. He didn't want to replace it because the Ford part was very expensive: $250. I called a "parts expert" who tried to convince me that my station wagon had a sliding side door. No amount of persuasion could convince him that the squire had no sliding door on the side. Sigh. I took a quick look at Revane and was convinced. They had this part for $53 - backed by a lifetime warranty (as opposed to a curb warranty on the dealer part). Luckily, my mechanic doesn't mind installing parts that customers bring in, so I ordered the part from Revain. I paid $17 for overnight delivery which was a lot but we have 10% sales tax in Seattle so I would have to pay the retailer $25 sales tax on their site. Anyway my mechanic installed it and it works great. Now I look at the windows. This is a great option. Thank you for stocking up on these parts.
