Cute light set for an area that doesn't have a light fixture. I didn't give it 5-stars because it doesn't have a dimmer switch. Instead it's just normal toggle switch. You can turn off the lights individually but that just looks weird. I think a nice improvement would be to have a dimmer for each light and a main toggle switch that turns the set on/off OR have the main switch be a dimmer switch. But other than that this light set worked exactly how I had hoped. The cord length was definitely long enough to reach the outlet. The set came with 3 lamp shades but I didn't like the way they looked as they are kind of bulky. But everyone has different taste. I hope my DIY project gives some inspiration! 😊
