A feature on the tank controls how much air is admitted to displace water to allow it to seep through the fabric to the floor. I have a BG800 and it doesn't work very well. Even at max, the "dose" under-delivers and dries up as the robot moves. It's also a thin fabric, so I had to wash it several times while the robot worked.
