The new replacement filter model has serious disadvantages. Water bypasses the filter.
*See photo. I tested several original filter models and was very satisfied with the results. The water is delicious. Apparently, the company has updated the design of the filter. Big problem. The water flows past the filter. The new filter element obviously does not seal the edges. It is also noticeable how much faster the water flows from top to bottom. It also shows up in the taste of raw chemical tap water. Very disappointed. Now the whole jar is useless. Wasted time and money.
