Smart Battery Sense uses Bluetooth to send battery voltage to solar charge controllers. Some users have reported that Bluetooth is not suitable for using Smart Battery. I have no issues with Bluetooth on my Lifepo4 lithium batteries on my Catalina 320 sailboat. However, I think it would be nice to extend Victron Smart Battery Sense to an area where Bluetooth works. In this video, I suggest how to extend the voltage sensor cable so you can move your smart battery sensor to an area where Bluetooth communication is not a problem, but you have to be careful with fuses, otherwise you're likely to get a lot of voltage drop.
