Absolutely LOVE this case

Absolutely LOVE this case except for three issues (two users, one actual issue). First, professionals can use dual 360mm enthusiast water cooling radiators with fans in a push-pull configuration. MASSIVE size for a medium body. I previously used the Corsair 200R as a reference, which is a large mid-range case on its own. This is bigger. LOTS of room to grow! - Price versus Quality: This definitely feels like a very solid case, especially after assembly - High ground clearance. I have NOT tested this cover on carpet but it seems to sit quite high. I would like to put it on the carpet you would expect to find in an office, not the plush carpet you find in the house. for the first time - When the case is on your desk, you have to stand up to connect USB devices at the top of the panel - The magnetic cover on top moves slightly when you assemble your PC. Issues (Cosmetic) - There is NO fan light when power is set to 'low'. While it's VERY quiet, it would be ideal to have the blue lighting on so I don't have to fetch a flashlight to tell them they're on. Speaking of being able to tell if the fans are on, the tint could probably be halved and it would still look exceptionally smooth. The first time, make sure you loosen the glass thumbscrews properly, they are already very tight on the glass. Problems (Ease of Use) - My MoBo, MSI z170 Krait. , there is almost no space between the battery compartment and the pins needed to connect the power/reset/LEDs to the case. I had to use 7" needle nose pliers to attach them, bending the pin in the process. This also resulted in a failed first attempt to install the post - I recommend using longer cables for a fully modular power supply due to the spacing between the glass pane and the wall is exceptionally small I had problems with the 24 pin MoBo connector and the 8 pin connector as both cables were not long enough to reach all the way to the front where there is more space, or all the way to the back where it could be under the edge of the metal case. These last two issues probably added another 45 minutes to my build time. The second issue will make me spend a bit more on some custom PSU cables to fix the two issues mentioned and 1 hard drive) I would rate this case 8.5 out of 10 points.

Pros
  • Great choice
