Try this one. Unfortunately, I realized too late (the cat scratched the carpets and the corners of the stairs) that unlike my previous two cats, this cat will not use a vertical scratching post. But she took it right away, I mean right away, took it as her own and never scratched the carpet again. She understands that this is *her* and will do anything for him. I have two of these, one on top and one on the bottom, in places she often passes and she jumps on them as she goes by. In fact, you can even wear it on top like a pillow and stick your claws in to hold on and peek out. I especially like that it's reversible so both sides can be used to the full. It wears out - my cat mainly scratches the corners and they end up tearing like a carpet. But since it can be flipped, it works in 8 corners. I reckon it will last about 2 years. VERY worth the price and I only wish I had discovered it sooner.
