Review on 🔀 Gates 20893 Hydraulic Hose by Derrick Kadam

Let me start by saying that I have been a loyal Gates customer since the 1970's due to the quality of their products. But not in this case. I ordered a Gates lower radiator hose for my 96 Fleetwood and it ended up being 3 inches shorter. I ended up having to reuse the old hose, which fit well. Thought the Gates hose was cut and sent back. Ordered a replacement and it was exactly the same. I bought a Dayco tube and it was perfect. Look at this picture. I can imagine how it happened. Combining products to get rid of slower part numbers. This hose is suitable for various applications, but not for me. It took me two weeks to buy and return the hoses to get the right one. I expected that from a Chinese company, not from Gates. My preferred supplier of quality belts and hoses is now Dayco.
