The leather was cheap and sturdy. The laces are MUCH short. Bought this shoe a full size up, too narrow and narrow in length. The top of the shoe dug into my foot on either side of both shoes. The back of the shoe dug into my ankles. Not only was it the worst shoe I've ever tried, it was NEVER meant to be. This is a size 17. Keen is a premium brand. I would happily pay more dollars to get a bigger shoe that fits and is comfortable. I don't have many options for big shoes. do it right. I will pay for it. Stop saving cost and make shoes in India. Get it right, break even and people will buy quality. I have 4 pairs of keens but they are not keens.
