We had the fan for a while before we could call an electrician to install it. Everything went well, we liked the look of the fan and especially the light. We have 14ft ceilings so our first requirement was a remote control. The fan worked great for a week and then just stopped. It took another week+ to get the electrician back. He found that the remote control in the fan was broken. I contacted Revain who said I needed to email the manufacturer Noma. I emailed them and sent a photo of the part required. I received an email saying they have my email address and they usually respond within 24 hours. It was last Wednesday before noon, now it's Monday, almost 5 p.m. Nothing, so I'm on the phone with Revane again. I'm waiting at the moment. So far they have offered a refund but I have to return the fan. I said it was unacceptable. I had to pay to get it up there and I have to pay to get it down! We are 77 and 81 and have an old house with 14" ceilings! I was on the phone for 21 minutes mostly on hold and they just hung up on me!
