I mounted the bracket on the dashboard to the left of my line of sight. The grip seemed good, but when I went through the first corner it flew away. So I moved it to the center of the console, just above the steering wheel. The weight of the phone kept pulling the mount down so I couldn't see it. I tried tightening the screw (which wasn't designed to be tightened) and it was as tight as it could be. Send it back. You will also get an Allen key and a set of number stickers in the package. No explanation for the hex key and nut it could be attached to (that I could find) and no explanation as to why I would want to put stickers on the holder. Made in China. Typical idiotic directions (or NO directions in this case). Why don't the Chinese spend a few dollars to hire a US technical writer to write their instructions?
