I was looking for a pair of mittens to replace my old cotton mittens which were worn out and very dirty. They have nice padding and the thin texture of the silicone helps me grip. The cuff is long enough to protect the forearm but not bulky and unwieldy. I was a little worried the silicone would be hard but they are very flexible and I can grip things naturally. The size is good for me but also fits my husband's big hands (he actually cooks here most of the time so it's good that he's happy too!) The biggest plus for me is that they are very easy to clean. nothing sticks to silicone! So far, so good! I will update this review if anything changes in its long-term performance.
