Can be easily modified
I had a Renogy 100w solar panel for my RV to keep the batteries trickle charged, when not in use, but didn't want to punch any holes in the RV roof to mount it. I drilled new holes in the cross members of the mount, bought four 1-1/4" u-bolts and mounted it on the RV ladder.
- Allows for easy installation without the need for professional help or specialized equipment
- May not provide sufficient support for solar panels in all types of weather conditions
