It took about 50 miles to "sit down" and stop the squeaking. Immediate significant improvement in brake friction. According to conservative estimates, the grip of the discs has increased by at least 25% (I replaced the original discs with regular Brembo discs). The pads still snarl a bit when cornering hard under braking, but there's no bullshit under braking. The original brakes on my 2006 Toyota Matrix XR were excellent (ABS). These pads have taken my brakes from great to AWESOME. I run General Exclaim UHP 55R16 R16 55R tires which have amazing grip with the new brakes. If I still had 80 hp, well! 8-D
