Living in Southern California means dealing with katabatic winds known as Santa Anas. They usually start at the end of summer and last until early fall, and to say the least, they suck! It is only mid-June when I write this, but in a few weeks the temperature will rise to 80Β°, at the end of July we will be at 90Β°, August and September will see each other. at 100 Β°C. let me tell you I hate. Existence. Hot. Especially at night when I'm trying to sleep. Coincidentally, my old fan broke last week, which sucked, but at least it wasn't 30 degrees outside and I had enough time to replace it. This one was very cheap ($38) and I liked that it had a remote control while my old one didn't. This fan was easy to assemble and works well. Very quiet in first gear. At level 2 it's still nice white noise. At 3 it's more noticeable, but not so much that it bothers me. The fact is that it is less powerful than my old fan. Its level 3 (highest setting) is the same as the level 2 of the old one. Luckily I also have one of those big round floor fans that just blows and creates a tornado, so I'm ready. Overall this tower fan looks and works well, love the remote control and I'm glad I paid less than Target or Home Depot. I just want the hit to get better. Yes, you're welcome to end it with "That's what he said".
