    Quiet but not quiet

    I put this in my bedroom as it gets hot when I'm there (no clues). I have a caveat that the engine seems to change from time to time in terms of noise. Some nights it turns on instantly, filling the background noise with a low hum. Other nights it takes a few minutes to get up to speed and you can slowly hear the change. If you need quiet, this fan will suffice. If you are looking for tranquility this is not the best choice.

    Be careful when buying electronic/fragile items from Amazon

    I really wanted to love this fan. Bought for my mum who had a stroke earlier this year and is bedridden. The remote control was a great idea. Looked good, very quiet. Up to 15 mins. Q, the fan started making a strange noise. like something was dangling inside? Or is it ok? I have to send it back but I don't know how.     Very quiet but moves a lot of air in the bedroom

    This fan moves the same amount of air as my Bionaire fan which recently stopped working but takes up much less space in my small room. I needed a fan that reached at least a certain height so I could feel the air while I slept. My bed is very high, but I don't like regular fans on stands, which have huge bases and take up a lot of space. This fan is powerful enough for me and the remote works pretty well around the room.     Poor fan quality on household fans

    I had this previous brand before I bought it about approx. I didn't buy it from Revain and it was a great fan. This is the second Lasko fan I've bought from Revain ordered because the first one sounded like something would break when it was turned on so I returned it.     First I read many reviews about the packaging, Revain informs you that it does not come in any packaging other than the fan box.
