Painted white version came with spring coils stuck together, not so with nickel satin version
Deduct 1 star:White version of the product seems painted and the paint causes the spring coil to stick together, reducing the springiness of the unit. Every white stopper spring needed to be limbered and I worry that over time the coil will revert to its stuck together state, reducing the desired springiness. I ended up returning the white painted version of the product.The nickel satin version of the product did not exhibit this issue and every stopper was usable out of the box.The differences between the two colors of stopper was dramatic.
- These were exactly what I was looking for and expecting. Easy to install and look really nice.
- Spring mechanism can be too stiff for some people
