Deduct 1 star:White version of the product seems painted and the paint causes the spring coil to stick together, reducing the springiness of the unit. Every white stopper spring needed to be limbered and I worry that over time the coil will revert to its stuck together state, reducing the desired springiness. I ended up returning the white painted version of the product.The nickel satin version of the product did not exhibit this issue and every stopper was usable out of the box.The differences

I wasn't excited when I received these door stoppers. You would think they are so easy to install. You have to gentle unwind the the base off the stopper then screw it onto the base of your wall. Then with a sturdy hand feel for the opening and try to turn the stopper on the base if you can.

Look great and match the rest of the black hardware in the house. I didn’t have any issues with "flaking” as other reviews have mentioned. And my dogs tends to hit these things pretty often somehow and still no issues

It took a few minutes to figure out how to attach it because there were no instructions. it is now installed and looks good. Too many in package, it would have been better for me if there were less, and cost less, since I only needed one, but I now can have many spares and I can replace some of the old ones!

I bought these to get a couple to replace broken door stops in my house and ended up replacing all of the door stops with these. They're really use to install: insert the sharp base into the previous hole, tap with a hammer, twist the spring onto the base. They look fine, the finish is a bit cheaper-looking than I would have like, but they're doorstops, so I doubt anyone will notice.I had to ding them 1 star for value and sturdiness because my 10 lb cat recently popped one slightly off the base

not too much about 1$ a piece. Looks OK installs as expected, however I'd like tops to be glued otherwise easy to get lost and it will make stopper kind of useless

I have bought a lot of these type door stops locally, and all of the different brands came with the mounting screws included inside the spring stop. These did not include any mounting screws, so I had to make another trip to the hardware store and pay for the screws. Other than that, the door stops worked as well as the other brands, although they did not seem to be quite as thick in the springs .

This did not come with screws you need to install. Luck I had some. These look great with my white baseboard. They are absolutely strong enough for the job.
