I used this to clean our shower drain, it slowly started to drain. Mine allows you to remove the drain cap and have easy access to the hole, then close the cap when you're done. Here's what I learned: For heaven's sake, turn on the fan in the bathroom before you throw that thing down the drain. I might also suggest a face mask or nose scarf. Be prepared with a waterproof garbage bag and gloves. Because what you're pulling out of there is the most disgusting, disgusting smelling and looking piece of shit you can imagine in your life. Talk to yourself seriously first. Maybe pray a little. Then send the small grab down. While what you're pulling out is downright gross and you can send it multiple times to pull out a complete clog/mess, give yourself an A when you're done that you've taken care of it yourself, and have yourself saved the cost of a plumber, and that literally takes maybe 10 minutes of your life. I ended up infusing some bleach (always turn on the bathroom fan when using bleach!). So buy it, do it and do the victory dance because it's over.
