The stitching isn't very strong so I can't squeeze out as much liquid as I'd like. However, the fabric itself is VERY durable and high quality. It works to filter out even very small particles and that's what I used it for. I made applesauce and needed apple juice for the recipe but didn't have it on hand. I poured the applesauce into a strainer and was very pleasantly surprised at how well this bag worked to make very pure apple juice. I thought at least some of the fiber would pass through the bag, but that didn't happen. The network is very good. Unfortunately, the pores get clogged with use and juicing becomes very slow as a result. However, it was the best tool I had on hand and was very easy to clean with soap and water. All apple particles are quickly washed off without leaving any traces on the material.
