I bought this because I have interstitial cystitis and need to be careful what water I drink - it can't be too acidic or I'll boil up. As you know due to COVID there are no grocery stores anymore so my husband bought branded spring water for me. A week later I broke out and couldn't figure out why; I mean, who would have thought that one spring water could be so different from another? Well, experiment #1 my 14 year old son did scored 1/8. These are photos 1 and 2. Photo 1 is Fiji (on a pH 7.7 bottle), then tap water, then Dear Park, then the Weis brand (which my husband bought). Rice. 1: Deer Park Spring vs. Weiss Spring; On Fig. 3 I did an experiment measuring the water in a glass on a small postal scale, so I used exactly 1.7 ounces in each glass; I did so knowing there were two bottles of water to drink and just wanted to double check. So pic 3 is just Fiji vs. Deer Park. As you can see Fiji has again received an 8 (both times) and I would rate Deer Park a 7 (both times). White spring water was between 4 and 5! So, lesson learned. Water is not simply water. I am thankful for this test suite. I tried using urine/saliva test strips but the result was not as accurate.
