Really nicer cages, seriously look out for them

I am very happy with these cages. They are beautifully designed, built and finished. I couldn't tell from the photo if it would be an opaque red or a pure metallic red - it turned out to be (thankfully) a transparent metallic red and the red is a rich one Primary red that mixes well with the red of some of the other high end components on my bike from various manufacturers. I've seen (and had) other red checks that were slightly pink or purple and had a rough finish - the finish is very even and looks high quality. So there's a good chance they'll pair well with other red accessories if that's a concern for you. Not only do they come with the necessary screws and washers, but they even come with a correctly sized hex wrench that feels nice to the touch. This cage fits a 20 ounce Gatorade bottle - which I prefer to use instead of commercial bottled water. I mostly blend my Gatorade myself, but I also buy enough pre-mixes to have a small supply of bottles to replace when they run out. The 20 ounce Gatorade bottle is a really tight fit - I only had to bend these cages a few millimeters to get the bottles in and out with less effort. The only reason I might recommend avoiding them is if you're considering using larger, thicker water bottles than regular ones. These cages are designed to hold your bottle very tightly and you will need to bend these cages to accommodate larger bottles. Conclusion: solid construction, high-quality workmanship, very low price. You could do a lot worse, but you probably couldn't do better than these cells.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
