Review on 💨 Efficient Pressure Control: Atwood 91604 Relief Valve by Douglas Davis

Replaced the stock shut off valve in my 6 gallon Atwood water heater. The old valve opened before the water was hot. Fits perfectly, does not leak and does not open prematurely. The only thing that interested me was that the dipstick wasn't pressed against the block as hard as the old one. It's unthreaded as I twisted it while trying to tighten it, which is why I think it's designed that way. One thing that has confused me is the size of these blocks. 1/2" does not mean 1/2" pipe thread. The outside diameter of the thread is 0.84 inch. Your existing valve should have a size label.
