Review on Motorcycle Waterproof Speaker Amplifier System by Tyler Born

Best speaker/steering wheel amplifier

I've wanted a stereo for my 2003 Honda VTX 1800C for years. I've researched many products and applications, from bat scares to expensive luxury audio systems. I finally stumbled across them and they offered the best price per dollar. Not only did I get the sound system I wanted, I also have space to charge my iPhone and iPod on my bike. Let me say this is not an easy setup. If you have a Harley then YES it is a plug and go system. For metric bikes, you're better off if you have an extensive knowledge of electrical engineering. I had to call a friend to help me find a power source. I installed a 30 amp fuse box ($9 Extended Auto Zone) and attached it to the outside of the tool box lid/lid. I left half the box hot all the time, and the other half works when the key is on. This way I could just plug my amp's power into my new fuse box and it would turn on when the key was turned and USB charging was done the same way except the power was on all the time. To do this, you need to disassemble the fuse box and cut a sheet of metal in half, sand down to avoid jagged edges that can touch, and then apply battery power (40 amps) to the relay. $5 Advanced Auto Relay System) Of course, you have to find a reason for everything. I decided to take my time with this project and get it right, I removed the gas tank from my VTX so I could neatly hide all my speaker wires. and USB cable etc. I used black 1/2" fluorescent cable for a professional look, although not visible it helps with heat and vibration. The speakers are VERY loud, much louder than I initially expected. I took to the interstate to test drive these pups, and I could clearly hear my music word for word, note for note as I cruised the 575 at 90 mph. I have a windshield and I used mirror mounts for the speakers because I already have a cup holder and my phone mount is attached to the steering wheel. The speakers are so close to you that you can hardly miss them, even in high-speed wind. Save yourself stress and headaches, trust me it's not that easy for a beginner or advanced installer. I can't understand how great these speakers sound. BUY THIS, you won't regret it! You look great too!
