Great for the price!

Installed this radio on a 2002 Honda Shadow Ace. I had to use spacers on the speakers to fit the handlebars. The item itself is very nice. My buddy just bought a SHARK radio and the bike looks awful. It fits snugly and neatly on the bike. The volume control is a nice feature and the USB charger is GREAT. I put the volume control on the clutch terminal and the USB charger on the plug terminal. The holes are perfect for factory screws. ONLY BACK. the hum you get from AMP when the bike is running.

Cons
  • Minor issues

Good quality and volume

Instructions suck but you only need basic knowledge to hook up the amp. Put it on the '05 Boulevard C50T. The quick disconnects don't fit my bike but they are very easy to use with the other power cord that comes with it. The amp fitted perfectly in the toolbox area and made it easy to run the power cord, requiring less than a foot of cord. Tool kit moved to saddlebags so no problem. You need to buy a switch and built in fuse to get it right. Otherwise the amplifier is always switched on. I…

Sounds great on my Road King

I chose this product based on the positive reviews I've seen here at Revain about the sound quality of this system. I have to say that the sound quality is excellent. Two years ago I installed another system that required me to connect power directly to the battery which meant that every time I turned the system on I had to turn it off when I stopped. The Lanzar is truly a plug and play device and the sound is excellent. But Lanzar decided that their technical writer used a pencil and a 4th…

Good product. Good sound!

I bought this and installed it on a 2006 Harley Heritage Softail Classic. I waited a few weeks before writing a review just in case. I use my bike every day when I commute to work, so after a few weeks it was comfortable to hop on and bang on. Delivery was FAST, ordered on Monday the Saturday before the bank holiday and received on Wednesday. Installation took about 3.5 hours, some of which included rewiring to my liking. I screwed the booster to the frame behind the front wheel and attached…

Worth the money Good for cars and automotive electronics

I looked at many similar speakers before buying. I previously purchased Kuryakyn Sounds of Chrome. Although they looked very nice, I sent them back as they weren't loud enough. As other reviewers of these speakers point out, the instructions aren't the best in the world. However, after spending some time and reading the instructions (more than once), these speakers can be installed by anyone with modest electronics experience. I haven't installed the speakers yet (waiting for warmer weather to…

Best speaker/steering wheel amplifier

I've wanted a stereo for my 2003 Honda VTX 1800C for years. I've researched many products and applications, from bat scares to expensive luxury audio systems. I finally stumbled across them and they offered the best price per dollar. Not only did I get the sound system I wanted, I also have space to charge my iPhone and iPod on my bike. Let me say this is not an easy setup. If you have a Harley then YES it is a plug and go system. For metric bikes, you're better off if you have an extensive…
