I've been using a toddy coffee maker for over 30 years
I've ordered a lot of toddy filters during that time, I've also ordered counterfeit filters at the time. The original toddy filter is generally a better fit, but I've never gotten really lousy copies, although copies are usually thinner. I don't cool my toddy filters either. They are washed and sometimes boiled (when the flow becomes very slow), then dried and placed in a cupboard and rewetted before use. This is a great product, but there are alternatives that work just as well, I've found that over the last 30+ years.
