Review on Prime Line Door Strike - Defender Security U 10385 - Ideal for 5-1/2 in 🚪 and 6 in Hole Spacing's on Dead Latch and Deadbolt - Steel with Satin Nickel Finish by Russ Montgomery

I had to use this on a door that had been 'modified' many times by people who just messed up the alignment of the strike plates for the handle and latch. There were so many holes drilled and screwed that I couldn't line up the new panels. This plate gave me the opportunity to place the screws in an entirely new location. There is also enough clearance to close, snap and latch everything very easily. I highly recommend this item. I plan to order a few extras to have on hand. @ my local home center this part costs about $40. I paid about $10 here at Revain. By the way, if you're looking for credibility in this review, I own a handyman shop.
